Easter Egg Hunt!

Easter Egg Hunt is this Sunday after 2nd service (weather permitting)!

It will be held outside behind the church. Feel free to bring a basket to collect the eggs in.

If it rains, the kids will do the hunt during 2nd service.

Volunteer Round Up!

Our New Life Ministry Fair is tomorrow morning! The tables are set and ready to go. The leaders are ready to recruit. New Life is unique because we don't have to twist arms to get volunteers. So many people in our church are eager to help in any way they can. Some are just looking for the right fit.

So, out of all the wonderful ministry choices at New Life, why choose children's ministry? Other than having a love for kids, our ministry fits so many spiritual giftings! Just a few are teacher, leader, encourager, mercy, service, music... We are teaching children, so there is no need to be an accomplished biblical scholar or a skilled worship leader. All you really need is a heart for kids and a teachable spirit. We will use the giftings God has given you and help you to become a shepherd for our smallest sheep!

So, visit us at the Kid's Ministry table tomorrow to see if you can find a spot to plug into New Life with us. We are so excited to see the kids' relationships with God go to the next level!

On Your Mark, Get Set, GO!

I am thrilled to be at the beginning of this journey as the new children's pastor at New Life Church! My husband, daughter, and I have been a part of New Life for over three years now. We love the people, the worship, our small groups, the transforming teaching, and the leadership of this church.

As the search for the children's pastor went on longer than we expected, God began to speak to my heart - first through others to get my attention, and then through prayer and devotional time. It became clear to me that I had been equipped for this job and it was time for me to apply. What an adventure has begun!

I am really looking forward to leading the kids of our church in the same transformational type of teaching the adults are getting - except on a level that they can relate to and understand. I am already doing much to prepare for my first official Sunday with the kids. Thank you so much for entrusting them to our ministry here at New Life. We are blessed to partner with the parents as we help the kids grow in their relationship with Jesus!

I am so excited to begin this new journey with all of you!
